Forensic Lab ( Delayed Post)

Okie.... We been seeing C.I.S all this while in tv. But, do u ever wonder hows is our very own C.I.S in Malaysia? :) Guess what, according to them, their equipments and technology are five years back from the U.S. Okie... not bad lah. The one and only lab is situated in Cheras. ( heard they building another new one somewhere else).

Anyway, thx to the Science and Maths club and Wan Tian's father, we got the opportunity to take a tour around the forensic lab.

Suprisingly, the equipments they had are quite impressive. Cameras are not allowed in certain part of the station. so, yea cannot show you guys the "big machines".

Yea... all in Bahasa Malaysia. -.- I dunno whether its a holiday for them or what, but the corridor looks very empty and not more than 4 person in a room. LOL The first stop was a room where they showed us how to get criminals fingerprint from the crime scenes. The second room was where they keep and edit the data of the crime scenes.


(Some examples where they showed us how to differentiate real and fake cheque by usinf "VSC4 machine".)

If your are thinking that the room will be as highclass or "hightech" like what had you saw in the tv show... Well, think again! It was just like any ordinary room that you had seen in Police Station. LOL

Oh yea, didn i tell you guys that, we also got the chance to see pictures of dead bodies... where you can see the brain out of the skull, intestines.... and all kinds if internal organs popping out from the bodies. owh.... :)
