3 out of 8 factories!

Hatyai is really a place where you can see all kinds of ppl… There are more foreigners compared to their local ppl seriously somehow. I spent the first day at Hatyai doing nth much.. ate the famous chicken rice. It bebecome famous just because the Prime Minister visited there. lol

The first night was awesome..went night walking around the city for food and shopping. Obviously, Hatyai is famous with cheap stuff and perfect paradise for shopping.

I spent the 2nd day visiting factories. LOL Its not in planned schedule actually, three of our families thought gonna visit where my thailand relatives stayed only, but the old man brought us to visit his factories from 1 to another 1 without us knowing. LOL You see.. cause we just followed his car.

First stop was where they made water bottles.. .and this is the compression machine(pic above & below)

Thats one of my cousin.

Then will be the plastic bag making side,

Polyethene! haha…for those who knows chemistry.

This is the machine where it print picture on the plastic bag. .

I find it quite cool first time seeing how plastic produced. :). It produced faster than i thought.. with just a single machine, tons of plastic bag can be produced within a an hour.

The next factory he owned will be the paip-making factory.

and the ice-making factory…

Only took one photo, cause hor one of my auntie complained bit to the old man’s wife… then wahda the end of factories visiting.. Instead, they brought us to a shopping market. LOL haha.. thats what my auntie been waiting for whole day.lol…

but still, its kinda lucky we didn visit all 8 factories, it will err… waste our time.LOL The old man were not trying to boast, but just want to teach the next generation with his experience.. He explained almost everything from machine to machine and how he become success in his life, also being humble and contribute to his old village back in china. All his sons and daughters were professional right now. Only one of his daughter is running his business now. And the funny part is his house servants are so lucky! They only work from 6am to 10 am.. then will continue sleeping whole day until night only they continue their task. LOL Each servants own a air-con room..OMG. . –_-

I know i am bit outdated, but this is my first time seeing a four storey house with a lift.. o.O

Happy Chinese Ox Year guys!

I just spent my whole week in Penang, my hometown and Hatyai, Thailand for past few days. Its kinda same old routine every year spending few days in my grandmother’s house for the CNY. But i headed to Hatyai this year at the fourth day of CNY to visit ‘long-lost’ relatives. Its my great grandfather 2nd wife family... which means is my father’s uncle. LOL. its complicated history anyway..

My first time in Hatyai was like 10+ years ago. I can only remember the Gold statue of Mermaid in Songka, Hatyai.  Oh another thing was I drove the whole journey in Hatyai! XD and driving there is worse than driving in Penang. There are more ‘toot-toot’ car and motocycles around…

‘toot-toot’ car!

:) Alrites, will blog more about Hatyai this week.

Laterz!

Kunming

Kunming is the capital city of Yunnan province, China. Located at the northern edge of lake Lake Dian. Because of its year-round temperate weather, Kunming is often called the "Spring City".

Assemble at KLIA in the very Early morning, then sat the Thai Aiways to Bangkok for transit. Well, this is our chance to visit the Bangkok New International Airport! There is only one thing i noticed, their airport is lack of washroom. ><" New airport? .. Bah! KLIA still better.. XD

Reached Kunming around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. First place we visited were the Western Hill aka Biji Hill is on the west Shore of Dianchi Lake.

In the parl one can see the hills covered with dense forests. Erm... main attraction around here include the Huanting Temple, Taihua Temple, Sanging Pavillion, Dragon Gate and... blah blah.

On the 2nd day, we went Jiu Xiang. Let me recall.... hmm Picture above was taken in the Karts caves. Major scenic sports include Yincui Gorge, Underground Gorge, river flowing in the ancient cave and dirine fields.

One of the really unique lunch table was this> pic below

Isn it just pretty...?
Then, we also visited the Zhangshen Temple.

Yes... its a Temple! Not Palace!....

Yunnan is city with surrounded by mountains. So, dali... LiJiang is all located in a valley.

Oh.. the is the mystical beauty of the Stone Forest. Okie.. this is one of the World Heritage i was talking about. The stone forest typical karts formation characterized by hundred of stone peaks.
