Taylor Business School (TBS)

Some of you guys will start questioning why i turn out to have this visit which has nothing to do with science class?

LOL
My class is the only science class who actually choosed a business/accounting course. XP Lets jus say we wanna try out something different.

And yes... it was a different experience for us. We actually got to know more less about the "Bursa Malaysia". I never actually bother to look at the share market page in the newspaper. But hey... I actually would take a glimpse at the page now. haha.. I know it will not last anyway. LOL



We had a " Finance Share Stimulation Game". The game is something like we have inherited RM100,000 from a great grand uncle who resides in the United States. Then, we were asked to invest it in the share market. We are provided with Bursa Malaysia, and we were asked to pick the stocks from the board and invest the RM 100,000 into stocks. We must trade in minimum lots of 1000 shares and a portfolio of at least 5 companies.


Based on the market value of all the portfolio, we picked some famouse company like YTL, Maybank, Gamuda and etc. In the end, all the teams had failed to earn any gain. Veronica, Jiahui and i in a team had won with the least capital lost of RM721.

Moral of the story? Do not get involve in the share market if you are not prepare for it.. :) Especially with the current issue nowdays... think twice!!

Anyway, I found this "sign" interesting and cool...
